To be honest, I thought Anthropic's coding AI was pretty similar, but when I looked at the numbers, there was a clear difference.
In the real bug fixing benchmark called SWE-Bench Pro, Fable 5 is 80.3%. GPT-5.5 is 58.6% and Gemini 3.1 Pro is 54.2%, so it's quite a difference.
